May 19th, Beaver Dam Removal, 2nd S. Branch Oconto

On May 19th, 2012 Green Bay and Oconto TU members worked with Cliff Sebero of the WIDNR to remove a beaver dam and large food cache. The beavers were trapped and removed the prior winter. Cliff explained safe practices with the explosives and a we had a dynamite time. Stream flow was restored after removal of the beaver’s work.
