May 18th, First S. Branch Oconto

On May 18th 2013, members and the Oconto River Chapter lead by WI DNR trout habitat expert Cliff Sebero and biologist Chip Long worked on repairing 30 year old habitat structures. One structure required totally new rock and working together in a line, we were able to move about 15,000 pounds in a hour to cover 200 feet of bank. In total, 30,000 pounds of rock were placed over a 3-hour period with four refurbished bank covers.  Read this rock solid news story
