On August 17th, 2013 we headed to Ninemile Creek, a tributary of the Wolf River. Extremely heavy cover of alder brush on over three quarters of a mile stream length was cut and placed into designated areas to narrow and increase the currents, flushing out silt and exposing gravel bottom substrate. The improved flows help maintain cooler water temperatures in the watershed area. There was a TREMENDOUS turnout of 35 TU members from Green Bay, Wolf River and Oconto River Chapters, possibly the largest crew in our history.
