Like Trout Unlimited, the Wisconsin River Alliance is an organization who serves to care for our valuable water resources. They do this with a mission to empower people to protect and restore water. According to their website their vision is a “thriving community, economy and habitat through access to clean, abundant water.”
On Thursday, February 14th a pair of representatives from the Wisconsin River Alliance will join us to talk about their purpose/efforts and how it connects with that of Green Bay Trout Unlimited.
Falon French (Clean Water Program Director) will discuss the Clear Water Farms pilot program and water quality issues as they relate to farming.
Natalie Dutack (Watershed Groups Manager) will cover water their Aquatic Invasive Species Education & Outreach program, impacts, and how we can work together to prevent the spread.
Both will be bringing in local focus for us.
