Green Bay Trout Unlimited (GBTU) and the Wisconsin League of Conservation Voters (WLCV) have been partners on varies efforts for several years now. GBTU and the WLCV have one major commonality…we both proactively advocate for conservation and a healthy environment
One of the annual events WLCV holds to accomplish their mission to “Engage Voters to Protect Wisconsin’s Environment” is Conservation Lobby Day. This year GBTU has signed up and donated as a “Friend of Conservation.”
Conservation Lobby Day is FREE and offers an opportunity for citizens to do the following…
- Learn about important issues facing our environment
- Meet with your state Senator and Representative’s offices
- Connect with individuals/groups who share similar attitudes
- Participate in professional led trainings
This year’s Lobby Day will be held on Wednesday, March 27th. Additional information can be found by CLICKING HERE. The WLCV offers a free bus ride departing from five Northeast Wisconsin locations (Algoma, Green Bay, De Pere, Appleton and Oshkosh).
