“We are planning to hold the 2nd Annual Redd Survey Training on Saturday, Oct 26th starting at 0830. Rain date would be the following Saturday, Nov 2nd.

Like last year, the plan is to meet at the WDNR Wild Rose Fisheries Habitat Station (N6154 State Rd 22, Wild Rose, 54982 – https://maps.app.goo.gl/fiSPDDoQPUpp8XP89). We will start the morning with a brief classroom presentation outlining the Redd Survey process. We will then head out to the field (presumably to the Mecan River) to get hands on training to identify redds, how to enter your observations into the app properly, and tips on how to go about conducting your own surveys.”

Organizations that have expressed interest in being part of this opportunity include Fox Valley TU, Hornberg, TU, Central TU, UWSP Fly Fishing, and more !
