The following message if from Green Bay TU Board of Directors and Education Chair, Dave Ostanek:
“GBTU Members,
We have another great volunteer opportunity to help spread the word of Trout Unlimited and the great things we do while teaching some fishing skills along the way. The Outagamie Conservation Club is hosting their annual Women’s Outdoor Workshop (WOW) on Saturday, September 7th. We have been a part of this event two different years and it has been fantastic. They are hoping that we can do three sessions and volunteer from 11:00-3:30. Each session runs an hour and we teach fly tying, fly casting, and we have the women then fish in the pond using the same type of fly they had tied. A lunch during the lunch hour will be provided to us. If you are interested in helping please reach out to Dave Ostanek at 920 362 6997 or email [email protected].”
