Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities

Here are 3 excellent volunteer opportunities:
- GBTU’s own Bill Walton is part of an area church group that is looking for 2-3 GBTU members to help kids catch fish. You do not need to be an expert. Kids will be using mostly close-faced rods, but some will be giving fly rods a go.
- Date – Monday, August 3rd
- Time – 10am – 2pm
- Location – Izaak Walton League Ponds (on the West side of County Road GV, South of Copps and Target)
- Group – 10-12 kids…ages 10-16
- LUNCH PROVIDED !

- GBTU friend, Jodi Arndt Labs is helping coordinate a Girls Scouts fishing event. This is a great chance to help excite young girls about the joys of fishing. Jodi is hoping for 3-4 each day.
- Date – Tuesday-Thursday, August 12th-14th
- Time – 9:30am-10:30am
- Location – Izaak Walton League Ponds (on the West side of County Road GV, South of Copps and Target)
- Group – ~75 girl scouts

- Date – Saturday, August 15th
- Time – 8am-12:30pm
- Location – ~9 miles North of Langlade on Highway 55
