On Monday, April 11th, at 7:00 pm, the annual statewide Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and the Wisconsin Conservation Congress will hold their annual meeting.

On March 19th and 20th, from 10am - 2pm, the Green Bay chapter of Trout Unlimited (GBTU) teamed up with Cabela's Green Bay to hold our 2nd fly tying community outreach event.

On February 12th, 13th and 14th, Trout Unlimited chapters from around Oshkosh participated in the Oshkosh Fish Expo at the Sunnyview Expo Center just north of Oshkosh.

Our 3rd work project of the summer was on the upper North Branch Oconto River which is a continuation of prior year’s work. We now have improved about ¾ miles of stream channel at this location.

As the temperature of the Wolf River rises, the trout move into the colder tributaries. One of the main ones is the Evergreen River (Creek) in Langlade County which we fished today.

Our 3rd work project of the summer on July 19th, 2014 was on the upper North Branch Oconto River where we bundled brush, narrowed channels and reconstructed banks. This 500 foot section that we improved was upstream of prior years work.
