GBTU is kicking off our 2023-24 meeting season talking trout habitat management in NE WI trout streams with Guest Speaker Jonathan Pyatskowit.

Sept 9 – Women’s Outdoor Workshop Summary and Pics

GBTU taught ~30 women the art of fly tying, casting, and fly-fishing !! Thanks to the OCC, the women participants and GBTU volunteers for making this day a huge success !!

Aug 19 – Work Project #4 Summary & Pics

Several TU groups, and the WI DNR, joined GBTU for a very successful work day on the North Branch of Beaver Creek.

Volunteers from GBTU, Antigo TU, Coulee TU and Oconto TU teamed up w/ the WI DNR to improve trout habitat on Evergreen Creek !!

July 10 – Kids Fishing Day Summary and Pics

For more than 30 years GBTU has partnered with the Brown County PALS program to bring disadvantaged area youth out for Kids Fishing Day !!

June 17 – Work Project #2 Summary & Pics

Thanks to the GBTU and Oconto River TU volunteers, as well as the WI DNR, the Wausaukee River now has better access for trout anglers!!

June 3 – Take-a-Kid-Fishing Day

The Outagamie County Conservation Club's Take a Kid Fishing Day keeps getting bigger and bigger. GBTU is proud to have been a partner for many years now !!

May 23 – TIC Trout Release in Haller’s Creek

The Lombardi Middle School’s FFA brought their Trout-in-the-Classroom (TIC) program full-circle by stocking the trout they raised into Haller’s Creek (they also made the channel 5 news...outstanding) !!
