KFD July 2017
July 12, 2017 marked the 26th annual Kids Fishing Day put on by the Green Bay Chapter Trout Unlimited, Brown County Services PALS program, Green Bay Exchange Club, and the Izaak Walton League at the Izaak Walton ponds in Bellevue, Wisconsin.

June 2017 Picnic
On June 1st, 23 members of Green Bay Trout Unlimited (GBTU), including their family members, enjoyed fellowship and good food at the NEW Zoo Pine Forest Pavillion.

May 4th Haller’s Creek Stocking
On May 4th, GBTU, WDNR, and BCPD stocked 270 brown trout into Haller's Creek.

Navarino Outreach April 2017
From 11-2pm on April 22nd, GBTU, ORTU and the Navarino Nature Center teamed up to participate in Navarino Earth Day.

Cabela’s Outreach Mar 2017
On March 25th and 26th of 2017 from 10am - 2pm, GBTU, ORTU, MTU and Cabela's held their 3rd Community Outreach event during the non-summer seasons.

TIC at Wabeno Elementary
Last fall, the Northwoods Trout Unlimited ( NTU ), Green Bay Trout Unlimited ( GBTU ) and the Nicolet Sportsmens Club sponsored Trout In the Classroom ( TIC ) for Wabeno Elementary.

On January 21st & 22nd GBTU and Cabelas continued our Community Outreach relationship of holding Fly Tying Clinics.

Dec 2016 Cabela’s Community Outreach
On December 10th and 11th from 10-2pm, GBTU teamed up with Cabela's Green Bay to hold our first and second fly tying events of the winter season.

This fall Green Bay Trout Unlimited (GBTU) continued with our pro-active approach to community outreach by partnering with area conservation groups for a couple different events.

Lake Management Challenges
The WDNR is holding several public meetings to discuss the future management of Lake Michigan trout and salmon, including a proposed 61.5% reduction in chinook stocking in 2017.
